You cannot believe the things a belt can do. It is one of my favorite little tricks for flattering any figure.
1 – Hourglass figure – play up your shape with a medium-width belt cinched right at the narrowest part of your waist. It draws the eye right to it and accentuates the shape you already have.
2 – Pear shape – Minimize your hips by bringing the focus up with a wide, embellished belt worn below your bust.
3 – Apple shape – A belt is your silhouette’s very best friend. To thin your waist, look for dramatic styles with ornate buckles and rich colors. Wear them low-slung & askew to flatter your hips.
4 – Shorter torso – A medium width belt worn low at your hips will subtly drop your waistline & elongate your torso. It is a great way to balance your proportions.
5 – Boyish figure – To create curves, reach for a statement belt & wear it low on your waist, just above your hips. Over-the-top styles have the most impact.
